How do I hang the metal wall art?

It arrives ready to hang, with no assembly. A hanging bracket is already fixed to the back, so one or two nails or screws suited to your wall are all you need.

Does it sit flat against the wall?

No. Screws on the back hold the piece about 2 cm (3/4 in) away from the wall. Light passes behind the metal, and the design casts a soft shadow that gives it a 3D look.

What is it made of, and will it rust or smell?

Each piece is laser-cut from 1.5–2 mm steel and finished with electrostatic powder coating. The coating is odorless, free of harmful substances and resistant to moisture, so it works in kitchens and entryways as well as living rooms, bedrooms and nurseries.

Are the gold, silver and copper finishes real metal plating?

No. Gold, silver, copper and black are colours of the electrostatic powder coating applied over the steel, so every finish is equally durable. The colour options on this page show which finishes are available for this design.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it with a slightly damp one. Avoid abrasive sponges, solvents and alcohol-based cleaners, which can dull the powder coating.
